Sustainable solutions

We are at the forefront of helping businesses to achieve more sustainable technical environments and buildings, as evidenced by a British Safety Council five star award for our environmental management system. We work with the Building Research Establishment (BRE), which defines environmental ratings for the built environment, and have helped to draft the European Commission’s data centre conduct code to achieve better energy use for our clients. Mace has also recently contributed to the delivery of Masdar Insitute of Technology, in the world's first zero-waste, carbon-neutral city in Abu Dhabi.

We received the prestigious international accolade of the Sword of Honour as well as environmental and innovation awards for our project with Nationwide, and the RoSPA Gold Award.
