Jeff Darlington
Jeff joined Mace as head of supply chain in 2007 and is a highly experienced and proactive senior supply chain and procurement professional with over 35 years experience. He has delivered procurement solutions on major UK projects which have encompassed a wide range of market sectors, procurement routes and forms of contract including construction management, management contracting, PFI and design management and construction.
Jeff commenced his career with John Laing Construction Limited and achieved a solid grounding in all aspects of procurement during a 21 year period of service. He worked in various divisions of the business including building, civil engineering and management contracting where he gained promotion to senior purchasing manager..
He has experience of integrated working principles, and has been involved with projects working closely with the design consultants developing strategies for market testing key elements of the project through concept and scheme design, to deliver a robust solution where trade capacity, lead times, financial security, geographical, and other constraints are a major factor in determining the overall supply chain solution.
Jeff lives with his wife in Caldecotte, Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire.
