Mace wins the big one: Major Firm of the Year

Mace has won the big prize at the NCE/ACE Consultants of the Year Awards, walking away with the award for Major Firm of the Year.

Mace bucked the trend during 2010 to grow its staff numbers from 2,780 to 2,876 and increase its fees by 27% to £890m.

The award is recognition of Mace’s quality business performance in a tough market, a performance that was highlighted by work on high-profile projects including the London Olympic Park, the British Pavilion “Seed Cathedral” at the World Expo in Shanghai, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the Shard at London Bridge.

Having capped the year in style, Mace is looking forward to the future as the London Olympic Games become a physical reality, the Shard nears completion and the company continues its expansion into new regions including India and North America.
