New Ways of Working/Business Improvement Consultant
The Role:
This role requires an individual who can bring a blend of business development and hands-on delivery to an emerging and important sector of Mace’s core public sector consultancy offer.
We are looking for an exceptional individual with substantial experience of developing new ways of working and the office rationalisation market.
The individual will also be able to demonstrate understanding and experience of working in complex, political and multi-stakeholder public sector environments. In addition, the postholder will be expected to demonstrate skills and behaviours which align with the values and expectations of these client groups.
As well as developing Mace’s service offer, the postholder will be required to manage or be part of a team that manages key office rationalisation/new ways of working projects and will therefore be expected to demonstrate experience and attributes relevant to managing clients and projects.
The Requirements:
Primary responsibilities:
Lead the development of service offer in the field of office rationalisation.
Responsible for delivery of office rationalisation project(s) and key targets.
Work in an advisory capacity to clients to support their strategy and objectives.
Work with clients to develop models for new ways of working.
Develop and establish key relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
To support project objectives by:
Setting up regular and clear lines of communication to address issues as they arise.
Setting up and chair regular progress meetings.
Ensuring project/programme is kept up to date.
Agreeing key responsibilities and manage/develop the team to ensure objectives are met and employees are supported and motivated.
Assessing resources available on a regular basis and bring in additional support/specialist expertise where necessary.
Managing, monitoring and co-ordinating key aspects of the project, including but not limited to cost, design, ICT and FM.
Representing the company in a presentable and professional manner.
Ensuring Mace Management System is followed at all times.
Providing financial reports on time (forecast, budgets, income, fees etc).
Ensuring invoices and timesheets are submitted on time.
