Architects and Technologists needed on contract basis for busy design office

The Role:

The Mace architectural team undertake design commissions in the public, commercial and residential sectors. They operate in a multi disciplinary office environment working on new build, refurbishment and fit out projects. This role will operate from Hertford with frequent project and client visits. Due to high workload, we are seeking staff on a contract basis.

The Requirements:

• Experience of UK Building Regulations.• Ability to work with the minimum of supervision in a team environment, managing your own time and workload.• Ability to undertake more than one project at a time.• AutoCAD proficient, up to 2008 release, with skills to take a project from inception, through planning, detailed design, tender and construction.• Construction detailing skills.• Exerience of National Building Specification (NBS).• Contract administration experience.• Excellent communication skills.• Ideally a qualified BREEAM Assessor though not essential.
