Mace established its reputation in delivering complex leisure and retail facilities with this stunning retail and leisure development incorporating an indoor ski slope.

Xanadu Madrid is a mixed use development comprising retail, restaurants, leisure and family entertainment facilities in addition to cinemas and parking for approximately 7,000 vehicles.

The main mall features a diverse tenant mix, including Spain's premier department store, El Corte Ingles with an upscale Hipercor market and 200 speciality retailers.

The leisure choices are limitless with cinemas, virtual reality experiences, health and fitness facilities, a skate park, bowling, a family entertainment centre, and nightclubs. As befits a modern mall, food choices are also diverse with a variety of international foods and restaurants.

The centrepiece of the complex is the first ever indoor snow dome, an ecologically sound winter sports palace that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.

Mace provided project and cost management services and with the experience gained on the project, went on to deliver indoor ski facilities in both the UK and Dubai.
